February 2005
The Chapter held the February 17, 2005 dinner meeting at the Sunshine Hotel.  A goodly number turned out in spite of the inclement weather to hear Dan Morris, an attorney, speak on Senior Survival Workshop and Estate Planning. We have been getting quite a bit of this material through National MOAA as well and is timely and informative as some of us are putting on quite a few years.

March 2005
The March 19, 2005 Luncheon was held at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club. The speaker was Mrs. Gayle Martin of the Arizona Historical Society. Her topic was "Anna Ferguson - World War Two Housewife and Defense Worker."  It reminded some of their own experiences with Fathers or Brothers going off to war and their own experiences with ration books for sugar, meat, gasoline, tires etc.  Gayle had quite a display of memorabilia from that time period including the Blue Star and Gold Star Banners that have become popular at the present time.
