The Arizona Chapter MOAA held it's Fall Tournament at Rolling Hills Golf Course on 09-21-07.  44 golfers participated for prestige, prizes and lunch.  It was a fun time regardless of the aching feet and sore muscles for those of us who do not get out that much.  Tentative profit for the Scholarship Fund is $730.

Three fellows from Green Valley left at 4:30 AM in time to make their T time.  Thanks Guys.

The MOAA Fall golf tournament was held September 30, 2005 At El Caro Golf Club. There were prizes for just about every competitor and a good time was had by all. Mulligans again contributed to the Scholarship Fund.

The scoring was by the Calloway System which tries to level the playing field. Tanya Goode I understand is a very good golfer. Pat Dale who masterminded the affair is shown practicing his putting stroke. Come on out next spring and have a good time and make a little money for the Scholarship Fund.

Rolling Hills Golf Course was the scene for the May 6, 2005 MOAA Golf Tournament. Only 13 players participated this year down from the 22 a year ago. Never the less, a good time was had and mulligans enriched the Scholarship Fund by some $150. The infamous hat was retired and Roy Anderson won the Golf Trophy so it has been retired as well. Some of those attending are shown below.

May 2004

May 2004 was a busy month starting on the first of the month with the Annual Spring Golf Tournament. Beautiful day with 19 participating and the "Mulligan Money" added $225.00 to the Scholarship Fund. Roy Anderson won the new winner trophy and Ron Green retained the "Hat". All joined at the nineteenth hole for food and refreshments while the checkers checked scores and did the computing by computer. More technology in everything we do.
