| JROTC Scholarship awards were
presented at the luncheon at McCormick Ranch Golf Course on May 20,
2006.
The winners of our four $1,000 scholarships awards were present with
their families. They were: Brittany Fasnacht of Moon Valley, High School,
Sean Heenan of Cactus High School, Omar Urrutia of Cortez High School and
Kyle Tucker of Alhambra High School.
Something new this year as Mr. Weldon Beall (Courtesy Chevrolet) donated
two $1,000 scholarships and he selected Omar Urrutia and Kyle Tucker to be
recipients. Weldon is shown along with President Dan Conway with the
recipients. Many thanks to Mr. Beall.
