| JROTC Scholarship awards were
presented during the Chapter luncheon at McCormick Ranch Golf Course on
May 17, 2008. The Arizona Chapter awards scholarships each year to
graduating JROTC cadets from applicants from 17 competing high schools
in the Valley of the Sun. The recipients of the Chapter’s four $1,000
scholarships for 2008 were present with their families. They were:
Jonathan Porter of Sandra Day O’Conner High School, Tyler Skomp of
Central High School, Alexandra Sanchez of Cortez High School, and Craig
Brewster of Cactus High School.
